This big, solid, red boy tends to capture the heart of most people who meet him. His personality and working drive make him one very special boy.

Flare has earned his AKC Advanced level herding title on sheep and is now working on championship points, his Advanced cattle title and is close to earning his Working Trial Championship with the ASCA herding association.

Flare has been bred twice, both times to Cheeky. The first breeding produced a singleton pup, Luna, who has turned out to be a very nice young girl. She is pointed in the breed ring and made her debut in both the obedience and herding arenas at the 2005 ACD National Speciality where she went High In Trial obedience and earned a second-place score on Started Sheep.

The second breeding produced a litter of four pups. Two of those pups are currently showing for their breed championships; three of them have already made their debut in the herding arena; and one is close to starting his agility career.
